A common yet stark feeling among people that live and work internationally. You see things differently because you have an alternative perspective. That’s probably one of the reasons they hired you.
Having worked in places where I’m not from for most of my career I have coached and mentored people on cultural frustration, language barriers, workplace politics and interactions, on “fitting in,” struggling to claim your at place at the table and ultimately getting what you want.
If left unchecked, this can lead to your confidence being undermined, you believing you are an imposter, it can silence you, make you feel you are invisible and ultimately it affects how you perform. It can undermine your goals and block your ambitions. But it doesn’t have to.
Currently, 90% of my clients all have one thing in common: they work in places that they did not grow up in.
After flying business class for the first time you won’t want to travel any other way. However, not everyone can afford business class fares. For that reason, I have created a bursary that allows those who qualify to participate in coaching at a fraction of the cost of regular coaching services. Spots for the bursary are limited.
It’s common to think of a bursary as a means to participate in a educational process. In this case the education is in your own understanding of yourself.
In some cases the bursary has been used by people under 25 that are challenged by making important decisions. In other cases it might be used by someone that is not fully capable of paying the standard fee for coaching and the bursary can cover up to a large portion of the fee. This is a way for me to give back to a community of people that continue to enhance my life and career.

About me
Having completed the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Level 2 Professional Goal-Centered Coaching program at Concordia University in Montreal has enhanced my capabilities beyond my 30+ years working in Europe as a senior leader, mentor and confidant in marketing, branding, communications and advertising.
My practice follows the guidelines and code of ethics set out by the ICF. I believe that we all hold the answers to our questions and that sometimes we just need a little bit of help to discover and unlock them.
Areas of expertise: understanding your own value, embracing your power, deciphering cultural nuances, working with expats, bridging the gap with your corporate HQ, owning your own voice, honing a strong defense, building growth strategies for you and your team, the trap of seeking approval and tackle perfectionism once for all.

Yes, its critical to understand the confidential nature of any coaching, mentoring or consulting relationship. My practice follows the code of ethics set out by the ICF (International Coaching Federation). Yes, consider it this way:
A Coaching agreement is often based on a set number of sessions (often 3 or 4 to start in 2-3 week intervals) and for a set fee. Topics often start as broad areas but the goal is to make them specific and to work at achieving them. This work requires a significant commitment
The standard coaching fee is 150.- EUR per session. Sessions are booked for 45 mins but often run to 60 mins. Sessions might run shorter depending on what a client covers in any given session.
There are potential options to reduce this fee by taking advantage of the Business Class Coaching bursary. Look for more information on the bursary on the website.
Mentoring is often a short term agreement based on a specific topic like preparing for a presentation, asking for a raise, adjusting to new role, dealing with a new boss or having a difficult conversation with a colleague or client.
The standard mentoring fee is 200.- EUR per session.
Some coaching clients eventually convert their coaching relationship into a mentoring relationship and vice versa. In some cases there can be reduced fees.
Excellence is You Consulting is a comprehensive agreement aimed at achieving high level strategic and often complex plans that are executable and are designed to help you meet your objectives. The depth of this agreement and relationship is such that it is often open-ended at first and once initial results are attained the agreement converts to a more structured and deeply trusting connection. Fees for consulting vary but they generally are in the range of 400,-EUR per session if they are covered as an expense by your employer and they depend on the complexity of the topic being covered.

After an initial exploratory session and if you request to move forward, you will be sent an agreement that needs to be signed. Any pre-payments are made prior to coaching, mentoring or consulting sessions taking place. Generally 50% of the total amount of the agreement is due prior to the first session. The remaining 50% is due upon receipt of the final invoice which is generally halfway through the number of sessions.
Agreements that cover one session need to be pre-paid in full prior to the session.

Yes, technically the nature of a coaching, mentoring or priority consulting agreement means that either party can end a coaching agreement at any time and for any reason. Pre-payments are not reimbursed unless they are ended by the coach.
